If you are having issues logging into smartmusic, try these things:

1.  Make sure that you are using the correct email address and password.

 

2.  Make sure that when you go to login that you are not clicking on the "join a class" button.  Just hit the "login" button only.  TIP:  IF YOU GO TO  home.smartmusic.com, THAT WILL TAKE YOU STRAIGHT TO THE LOGIN AND YOU WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT CLICKING THE WRONG THING.

 

3.  CLEAR YOUR CACHED ITEMS.  HERE IS HOW TO DO THAT:

Open your chrome browser.

Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the screen.

In the drop down menu, click "more tools" and then select "clear browsing data".

In the time range box, be sure it says "All time".

Then check the third box that says "Cached images and files".  

Then hit the "clear data" button.

 

4.  If you are still having trouble, call the smartmusic support at 1-866-240-4041.

Welcome to Smartmusic!  Below are a few tutorials that you may find helpful.  If you are doing an assignment, be sure to hit the submit button after you get the take that you want....your best take!

You may need to use a different email address as the kinnschool email addresses cannot get outside emails.  Also, be sure to use a special character in creating your password!

You can also just use it as a practice tool!  Have fun!!!!

Be sure to:  Stand/sit further back so you are not too close to the microphone.  If your score is low but you think you played it correctly, submit your take anyway, regardless of the score it gave you.  I am able to hear your performance and assess accordingly.
